Sunnis
Sunnis are the largest branch of Islam, comprising about 85-90% of the global Muslim population. They believe in following the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad as recorded in the Hadith and emphasize the importance of the community in interpreting Islamic law.
Sunnis recognize the first four caliphs, known as the Rightly Guided Caliphs, as legitimate leaders after Muhammad's death. Their practices and beliefs are based on the Sunna, which includes the traditions and practices of the Prophet, and they often gather in mosques for communal prayers and religious activities.
