Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah
Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah was the 27th Sultan of Kedah, Malaysia. He was born on November 28, 1927, and became Sultan in 1958. His reign was marked by efforts to modernize the state and improve the welfare of his people. He was known for his dedication to public service and played a significant role in the development of Kedah.
In addition to his role as Sultan, Abdul Halim served as the 5th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia from 1970 to 1975. His leadership contributed to the unity and stability of the nation during a transformative period. He passed away on September 22, 2022.
