Sugar Gliders
Sugar gliders are small, nocturnal marsupials native to Australia and New Guinea. They are known for their ability to glide through the air, thanks to a membrane called the patagium that stretches from their wrists to their ankles. These adorable creatures typically weigh around 4 to 5 ounces and have large, expressive eyes that help them see in low light.
In the wild, sugar gliders live in groups and feed on a diet of fruits, nectar, and insects. They are social animals, often forming strong bonds with their companions. As pets, they require a spacious cage, a balanced diet, and plenty of interaction to thrive.
