Sufficient Condition
A sufficient condition is a scenario or set of circumstances that guarantees a particular outcome. If a condition is sufficient, it means that when it is met, the result will definitely occur. For example, if it rains, then the ground will be wet. Here, "raining" is a sufficient condition for the ground being wet.
However, a sufficient condition is not the only way for an outcome to happen. There may be other conditions that can also lead to the same result. For instance, the ground can be wet due to a sprinkler system, even if it hasn't rained. Thus, while sufficient conditions ensure an outcome, they are not exclusive.
