Sue Townsend
Sue Townsend was a British author and playwright, best known for her humorous and insightful writing. Born on April 2, 1946, in Leicester, England, she gained fame for her series of novels featuring the character Adrian Mole, a teenage boy navigating the challenges of adolescence. The first book, "The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13¾," was published in 1982 and became a bestseller.
