Subpixel Rendering
Subpixel rendering is a technique used to enhance the display of text and images on digital screens. It takes advantage of the individual color elements, or subpixels, that make up each pixel on a display. By manipulating these subpixels, the technique can create smoother edges and improved clarity, especially for small fonts.
This method is commonly used in devices with LCD screens, where each pixel consists of red, green, and blue subpixels. By adjusting the intensity of these subpixels, subpixel rendering can produce a higher perceived resolution, making text and graphics appear sharper and more defined to the human eye.
