Stuka
The Stuka, officially known as the Junkers Ju 87, was a German dive bomber used during World War II. It was designed for precision bombing and was characterized by its distinctive gull wings and fixed landing gear. The aircraft became famous for its ability to dive steeply towards targets, allowing for accurate strikes.
Equipped with a powerful engine and capable of carrying a variety of bombs, the Stuka played a significant role in early German military campaigns. Its effectiveness was enhanced by the sound of its sirens, which created a psychological impact on enemy troops, earning it the nickname "Jericho Trumpet."
