Strong Acid
A strong acid is a type of acid that completely dissociates into its ions in water. This means that when a strong acid is dissolved, it releases a high concentration of hydrogen ions (H⁺), which makes the solution very acidic. Common examples of strong acids include hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and nitric acid.
Strong acids have a low pH, typically below 3, and can be very corrosive. They are often used in various industrial processes, laboratory experiments, and even in household products. Due to their potency, strong acids must be handled with care to avoid chemical burns or other hazards.
