Straußenvögel
Straußenvögel, or ostriches, are large flightless birds native to Africa. They are the largest living birds, standing up to 2.7 meters tall and weighing between 90 to 150 kilograms. Straußenvögel have long necks and legs, which help them run at speeds of up to 70 kilometers per hour. Their feathers are soft and fluffy, providing insulation and protection.
These birds are omnivorous, primarily feeding on plants, seeds, and insects. Straußenvögel are known for their unique mating rituals, where males display their feathers to attract females. They are also farmed for their meat, eggs, and feathers, contributing to the economy in various regions.
