Stratocumulus
Stratocumulus clouds are low, lumpy clouds that often appear in a blanket-like formation. They typically form at altitudes between 2,000 and 6,500 feet and can cover large areas of the sky. These clouds are usually gray or white and can bring light precipitation, but they are generally associated with fair weather.
Stratocumulus clouds can indicate a change in weather patterns, especially when they thicken or develop into nimbostratus clouds. They are commonly seen in both tropical and temperate regions and can vary in appearance, sometimes appearing as patches or rolls in the sky.
