Straight Pool
Straight Pool is a cue sport played on a rectangular table with six pockets. The game uses fifteen object balls, numbered one through fifteen, and a cue ball. Players take turns attempting to pocket any ball on the table, with each successful shot earning them one point. The objective is to reach a predetermined score, often 100 points, before the opponent.
Players must call their shots, indicating which ball they will pocket and in which pocket. If a player fails to make a legal shot, their turn ends, and the opponent takes over. Straight Pool emphasizes strategy, precision, and skillful cue ball control.
