Steve Rubell was an American hotelier and co-founder of the famous Studio 54, a nightclub in New York City that became a cultural icon in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Known for its exclusive guest list and extravagant parties, Studio 54 attracted celebrities and socialites, making it a symbol of the disco era.
Rubell was born on December 2, 1943, in Brooklyn, New York. He studied at Syracuse University and later entered the hospitality industry.
