Steve Irwin
Steve Irwin was an Australian wildlife expert, conservationist, and television personality, best known for his show, The Crocodile Hunter. Born on February 22, 1962, he developed a passion for animals at a young age, particularly reptiles. Irwin's energetic personality and hands-on approach to wildlife education made him a beloved figure around the world.
He dedicated his life to wildlife conservation and founded the Australia Zoo in Queensland, which became a sanctuary for many endangered species. Tragically, Steve Irwin passed away on September 4, 2006, after a stingray accident, but his legacy continues through his family and ongoing conservation efforts.
