Steve Cauthen
Steve Cauthen is a retired American jockey, born on May 1, 1960, in Covington, Kentucky. He gained fame in the 1970s and 1980s for his exceptional riding skills and success in horse racing. Cauthen became the youngest jockey to win the Kentucky Derby in 1977 at the age of 17, riding the horse Seattle Slew.
Throughout his career, Cauthen won numerous prestigious races, including the Triple Crown events. He was known for his ability to connect with horses and his strategic riding style.
