Stereo Photography
Stereo photography is a technique that creates the illusion of depth in images by presenting two slightly different perspectives of the same scene. This method mimics how human eyes perceive depth, allowing viewers to experience a three-dimensional effect when looking at the images through special glasses or devices.
The process typically involves taking two photographs from slightly different angles, usually about the distance between human eyes, which is approximately 6.5 centimeters. When these images are viewed together, the brain combines them, resulting in a more immersive visual experience. Stereo photography has been popular since the 19th century and continues to be used in various fields, including virtual reality and 3D cinema.
