Stereo (Stereophonic)
Stereo, or stereophonic sound, is a method of audio reproduction that creates an illusion of multi-directional sound. It uses two or more audio channels to simulate a more natural listening experience, allowing sounds to come from different directions, similar to how we hear in real life. This technique enhances the depth and clarity of music and other audio content.
In a typical stereo setup, speakers are placed apart, usually in a left and right configuration. This arrangement helps to create a soundstage, making it possible for listeners to perceive the spatial relationship between different instruments and sounds, enriching the overall auditory experience.
