Starland Vocal Band
The Starland Vocal Band was an American music group formed in 1976, known for their blend of pop and soft rock. They gained fame with their hit song "Afternoon Delight," which topped the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1976. The band consisted of four members: Bill Danoff, Taffy Nivert, Margaret Becker, and Jon Carroll.
The group released several albums during their career, but they struggled to replicate the success of their debut single. They also had a short-lived television variety show, which aired in the late 1970s. Despite their brief prominence, the Starland Vocal Band remains a nostalgic part of the era's music scene.
