St. Leonard of Port Maurice
St. Leonard of Port Maurice was an Italian Franciscan friar born in 1676 in Port Maurice, Italy. He is known for his dedication to preaching and his efforts in promoting the Catholic faith. Leonard traveled extensively throughout Italy, delivering sermons and establishing missions, which helped to revitalize the spiritual life of many communities.
