St. John the Evangelist
St. John the Evangelist is one of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ and is traditionally credited with writing the Gospel of John, three epistles, and the Book of Revelation in the New Testament. He is often depicted as a beloved disciple and is recognized for his deep theological insights and emphasis on love and light.
In Christian tradition, St. John is also associated with the symbol of the eagle, representing his lofty spiritual vision. His feast day is celebrated on December 27, and he is considered the patron saint of authors, theologians, and apothecaries.
