St. Gaspar del Bufalo
St. Gaspar del Bufalo was an Italian priest born on January 6, 1786, in Rome. He founded the Congregation of the Most Precious Blood in 1815, which focused on evangelization and serving the poor. His work emphasized the importance of the Eucharist and devotion to the Precious Blood of Christ.
Gaspar was known for his dedication to preaching and his efforts in pastoral care. He traveled extensively to spread his message and support communities in need. He passed away on December 28, 1837, and was canonized by Pope Pius IX in 1954, recognized for his holiness and commitment to faith.
