St. Arakelots
St. Arakelots, also known as the Feast of St. Apostles, is a significant celebration in the Armenian Apostolic Church. It honors the memory of the twelve apostles, who were the first followers of Jesus Christ and played a crucial role in spreading Christianity.
The feast is observed on the first Sunday after the Feast of the Transfiguration, typically in August. During this time, church services are held, and the faithful gather to reflect on the teachings and sacrifices of the apostles, emphasizing their importance in the foundation of the Christian faith.
