St Andrew
St. Andrew is one of the twelve apostles of Jesus and is recognized as the patron saint of Scotland. He is often depicted with a saltire, or X-shaped cross, which is said to be the manner of his crucifixion. His feast day is celebrated on November 30th, and he is also associated with various legends and miracles.
In addition to his significance in Christianity, St. Andrew is linked to the city of St. Andrews in Scotland, which is famous for its historic university and golf course. The Scottish flag, known as the Saltire, features the cross of St. Andrew and symbolizes Scotland's heritage.
