Sri Raghavendra Swamy
Sri Raghavendra Swamy was a revered 17th-century Hindu saint and philosopher, known for his deep devotion to Lord Vishnu. He was born in 1595 in a village called Bhuvaneshwar in present-day Karnataka, India. Raghavendra Swamy is celebrated for his teachings on spirituality, devotion, and the importance of surrendering to God. His life and works have inspired countless followers.
He is also recognized for his contributions to the Dvaita school of philosophy, founded by Madhvacharya. Raghavendra Swamy established the Raghavendra Math in Mantralayam, which remains a significant pilgrimage site. His legacy continues through various temples and the devotion of his followers.
