Spider Families
Spider families are groups of spiders that share similar characteristics and behaviors. Each family consists of various species that have evolved over time, adapting to their environments. For example, the Araneidae family, commonly known as orb-weavers, is famous for creating intricate, wheel-shaped webs to catch their prey.
These families are classified based on features like body structure, web type, and hunting methods. Some spiders, like those in the Salticidae family, are known as jumping spiders and do not spin webs at all. Instead, they rely on their excellent vision and agility to hunt down insects.
