Speech Synthesis
Speech synthesis is a technology that converts written text into spoken words. It uses computer algorithms to generate human-like speech, allowing machines to communicate with users in a natural way. This technology is commonly found in applications like virtual assistants, navigation systems, and accessibility tools for individuals with speech impairments.
The process of speech synthesis involves two main components: text analysis and speech generation. During text analysis, the system breaks down the text into phonemes, which are the basic sounds of speech. Then, in the speech generation phase, these phonemes are combined to produce audible speech, often using pre-recorded voice samples or synthesized voices.
