Soyuz T-8
Soyuz T-8 was a Soviet crewed space mission launched on March 2, 1983. It was part of the Soyuz program and aimed to transport cosmonauts to the Salyut 7 space station. The mission lasted for about 7 days, during which the crew conducted scientific experiments and performed maintenance tasks on the station.
The crew of Soyuz T-8 included commander Yuri Malyshev, flight engineer Gennady Strekalov, and research engineer Alexander Serebrov. They successfully docked with Salyut 7 and contributed to the ongoing research in microgravity. The mission concluded with a safe return to Earth on March 9, 1983.
