Soyuz 34
Soyuz 34 was a Soviet crewed spacecraft that launched on July 3, 1979. It was part of the Soyuz program, which aimed to transport astronauts to and from space. The mission lasted for 7 days, during which the crew conducted scientific experiments and docked with the Salyut 7 space station.
The spacecraft carried two cosmonauts, Viktor Savinykh and Anatoli Berezovoy. They successfully completed their objectives and returned to Earth on July 10, 1979. Soyuz 34 was notable for being a part of the ongoing efforts to maintain human presence in low Earth orbit during the late 20th century.
