Soyang Lake
Soyang Lake is the largest artificial lake in South Korea, located in the northeastern region of the country. It was created in 1973 by the construction of the Soyang Dam on the Soyang River. The lake covers an area of approximately 29 square kilometers and serves multiple purposes, including hydroelectric power generation, flood control, and irrigation.
