Soviet Second League
The Soviet Second League was a professional football league in the Soviet Union, established in 1960. It served as the third tier of the Soviet football league system, below the Soviet Top League and the Soviet First League. The league featured clubs from various regions of the Soviet Union, providing a platform for teams to compete and develop talent.
The league underwent several changes in format and structure over the years, including the introduction of regional divisions. It played a crucial role in the development of football in the Soviet Union, allowing smaller clubs to gain experience and compete at higher levels before the league was dissolved in 1992 following the dissolution of the Soviet Union.
