Soviet Armenia
Soviet Armenia was a part of the {Soviet Union} from 1922 until its dissolution in 1991. Officially known as the {Armenian Soviet Socialist Republic}, it was one of the 15 republics that made up the USSR. During this period, Armenia underwent significant industrialization and urbanization, with a focus on heavy industry and education.
The capital city, {Yerevan}, became a cultural and administrative center, showcasing Soviet architecture and planning. Despite the challenges of Soviet rule, including political repression, Armenia maintained its rich cultural heritage, including its language and traditions, which continue to influence the country today.
