South Australian Cricket Association
The South Australian Cricket Association (SACA) is the governing body for cricket in South Australia. Established in 1871, it oversees the organization and promotion of cricket at all levels within the state, including amateur and professional competitions. SACA is responsible for managing the Adelaide Oval, a historic cricket ground that hosts domestic and international matches.
SACA also manages the South Australian cricket team, known as the Redbacks, which competes in domestic competitions like the Sheffield Shield and the Marsh One-Day Cup. The association plays a vital role in developing young talent through various programs and initiatives, ensuring the growth of cricket in the region.
