South African Ethnic Groups
South Africa is home to a diverse range of ethnic groups, with the major ones being the Zulu, Xhosa, Afrikaner, English, and Sotho. Each group has its own unique language, culture, and traditions, contributing to the country's rich cultural tapestry. The Zulu and Xhosa are among the largest indigenous groups, while the Afrikaners and English represent the European heritage.
In addition to these major groups, South Africa also includes smaller communities such as the Tswana, Venda, and Ndebele. The country's history of migration and colonization has led to a complex social landscape, where multiple languages and customs coexist, reflecting the nation's motto, "Unity in Diversity."
