Song of the South
"Song of the South" is a 1946 live-action/animated film produced by Walt Disney. The movie is based on the Uncle Remus stories by Joel Chandler Harris and features a mix of live-action segments and animated sequences. It tells the story of a young boy who learns life lessons from the tales of Uncle Remus, a former slave living on a Southern plantation.
The film is known for its portrayal of African American culture and folklore, but it has faced criticism for its depiction of race relations and the romanticized view of the South during the post-Civil War era. Due to these controversies, "Song of the South" has not been released on home video in the United States.
