Solid Fuels
Solid fuels are materials that can be burned to produce energy in the form of heat. Common examples include coal, wood, and biomass. These fuels are often used in power plants, homes, and industries for heating and electricity generation.
The combustion of solid fuels releases energy, but it can also produce emissions that may impact air quality. To minimize environmental effects, technologies such as carbon capture and cleaner burning methods are being developed. Solid fuels remain an important energy source, especially in regions where alternative fuels are less accessible.
