SoC
A System on Chip (SoC) is an integrated circuit that combines all the essential components of a computer or electronic system onto a single chip. This includes the central processing unit (CPU), memory, input/output ports, and sometimes even graphics processing units (GPUs). SoCs are commonly used in mobile devices, such as smartphones and tablets, due to their compact size and energy efficiency.
SoCs enable manufacturers to create smaller, lighter devices while maintaining high performance. They are designed for specific applications, which allows for optimized power consumption and processing speed. Examples of SoCs include those used in Apple devices and Qualcomm Snapdragon chips.
