Snowy Owls
The Snowy Owl is a large, white bird native to the Arctic regions of North America and Eurasia. Known for its striking appearance, it has bright white feathers with dark spots that help it blend into its snowy environment. These owls are primarily active at night and are skilled hunters, preying mainly on small mammals like lemmings.
Snowy Owls are unique among owls for their size and coloration. Adult males are almost entirely white, while females have more dark markings. They are known for their powerful flight and can travel long distances in search of food, especially during winter when food sources become scarce.
