Slabjacking
Slabjacking is a method used to lift and stabilize sunken concrete slabs, such as driveways, sidewalks, and patios. This process involves injecting a special mixture, often made of polyurethane foam or a cement-based grout, beneath the slab. As the material expands, it fills voids and raises the concrete back to its original level.
This technique is often preferred over traditional methods like replacement because it is less invasive and more cost-effective. Additionally, slabjacking can be completed quickly, allowing for minimal disruption to the surrounding area. It is a practical solution for addressing uneven surfaces caused by soil erosion or settling.
