Skunk
A skunk is a small to medium-sized mammal known for its distinctive black and white fur and its ability to spray a foul-smelling liquid as a defense mechanism. They belong to the family Mephitidae and are primarily found in the Americas. Skunks are nocturnal and have a varied diet, including insects, fruits, and small animals.
Skunks are often recognized by their bushy tails and strong scent glands located near the base of their tails. When threatened, they can spray a noxious liquid that can cause irritation and discomfort to predators. Despite their reputation, skunks are generally non-aggressive and prefer to avoid confrontation.
