Skoll Foundation
The Skoll Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded by Jeff Skoll, the first president of eBay. Established in 1999, its mission is to promote social entrepreneurship and support innovative solutions to global challenges. The foundation provides funding, resources, and networking opportunities to social entrepreneurs who are working to create positive change in their communities.
One of the foundation's key initiatives is the Skoll Awards for Social Entrepreneurship, which recognizes and supports outstanding social entrepreneurs from around the world. The foundation also hosts the Skoll World Forum, an annual event that brings together leaders in social entrepreneurship, business, and government to share ideas and collaborate on solutions to pressing social issues.
