Skirting Board
A skirting board, also known as a baseboard, is a narrow strip of material that runs along the bottom of interior walls. Its primary purpose is to cover the joint between the wall and the floor, providing a finished look to a room. Skirting boards can be made from various materials, including wood, MDF, or PVC, and come in different styles and heights to suit various interior designs.
In addition to aesthetics, skirting boards serve a practical function by protecting walls from scuffs and damage caused by furniture or foot traffic. They can also help conceal electrical wiring or gaps between the wall and floor, contributing to a cleaner appearance in spaces like living rooms, hallways, and bedrooms.
