Six Realms of Existence
The "Six Realms of Existence" is a concept in Buddhism that describes the different states of being in which sentient beings can be reborn. These realms include the God Realm, where beings experience great pleasure and long life; the Demi-God Realm, characterized by jealousy and conflict; and the Human Realm, which offers the opportunity for spiritual growth and enlightenment.
The remaining realms are the Animal Realm, marked by ignorance and suffering; the Hungry Ghost Realm, where beings experience insatiable desire; and the Hell Realm, associated with intense suffering and torment. Each realm reflects different karmic conditions and experiences based on past actions.
