Sisyphos
Sisyphos is a figure from Greek mythology known for his eternal punishment. He was the king of Corinth who defied the gods by cheating death twice. As a result, he was condemned to roll a massive boulder up a hill, only for it to roll back down each time he neared the top, forcing him to start over endlessly.
This myth symbolizes the struggle against futile tasks and the human condition. The term "Sisyphean" is often used to describe efforts that are laborious and ultimately pointless, reflecting the challenges faced in life and the pursuit of meaning despite inevitable setbacks.
