Sir Humphry Davy
Sir Humphry Davy was an English chemist and inventor, born on December 17, 1778. He is best known for his work in isolating several elements, including sodium, potassium, and calcium. Davy also invented the safety lamp for miners, which helped reduce the risk of explosions in coal mines.
