Simtek
Simtek was a small British racing team that competed in Formula One during the early 1990s. Founded by David Brabham and Nick Wirth, the team made its debut in 1994 and participated in a total of 33 races over three seasons. Simtek was known for its innovative designs and the use of advanced technology in its cars.
The team's most notable achievement came in 1994 when driver Roland Ratzenberger qualified for the San Marino Grand Prix. Tragically, Ratzenberger lost his life during the race weekend, which deeply affected the team and the wider racing community. Simtek eventually ceased operations in 1995 due to financial difficulties.
