Simo Häyhä
Simo Häyhä was a Finnish sniper during the Winter War between Finland and the Soviet Union from 1939 to 1940. He is renowned for his exceptional marksmanship, credited with over 500 confirmed kills, making him one of the deadliest snipers in history. Häyhä used a standard M28 rifle and preferred to operate in harsh winter conditions, often without a scope to avoid detection.
Häyhä's tactics included camouflage and stealth, allowing him to blend into the snowy landscape. His remarkable skills earned him the nickname "White Death." After the war, he lived a quiet life in Finland, becoming a symbol of Finnish resilience and military prowess.
