Sian Heder
Sian Heder is an American screenwriter, director, and producer known for her work in film and television. She gained recognition for her directorial debut with the film Tallulah, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016. Heder has also worked on the popular Netflix series Orange Is the New Black, contributing to its success with her writing and directing skills.
In 2021, Heder directed the critically acclaimed film CODA, which tells the story of a hearing child in a deaf family. The film received numerous awards, including the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for Troy Kotsur, making it a significant milestone in representation for the deaf community.
