Shyam Selvadurai
Shyam Selvadurai is a Sri Lankan-Canadian author known for his contributions to literature, particularly in exploring themes of identity, sexuality, and multiculturalism. Born in 1965 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, he moved to Canada in 1983, where he began to write and publish his works. His debut novel, Funny Boy, published in 1994, received critical acclaim and won several awards.
