Shizuoka Castle
Shizuoka Castle is a historic Japanese castle located in Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture. Originally built in 1585 by Tokugawa Ieyasu, it served as a strategic military base and residence. The castle was constructed on a hill, providing a commanding view of the surrounding area.
Today, only a few remnants of the original structure remain, including the stone walls and some reconstructed buildings. The castle grounds are now a public park, featuring beautiful gardens and cherry blossom trees, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists to enjoy nature and history.
