Shigeru Mizuki
Shigeru Mizuki was a renowned Japanese manga artist, born on March 8, 1922, in Sakaiminato, Japan. He is best known for his work in the horror and supernatural genres, particularly his famous series GeGeGe no Kitaro, which features a variety of yōkai, or Japanese folklore creatures. Mizuki's unique art style and storytelling have made significant contributions to the world of manga.
In addition to his manga career, Mizuki was also a veteran of World War II, which influenced many of his later works.
