Sheryl WuDunn
Sheryl WuDunn is an American author, journalist, and business executive. She is best known for her work in global issues, particularly concerning women's rights and economic development. WuDunn gained prominence as the first Asian American to win a Pulitzer Prize, which she received for her reporting on the Tiananmen Square protests in 1989.
Alongside her husband, Nicholas Kristof, WuDunn co-authored the influential book, Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide. This work highlights the challenges faced by women globally and advocates for their empowerment as a means to improve society as a whole. WuDunn continues to be an advocate for social change and education.
